China Visa Services
We provide full-chain agency services covering work permits, Z visas, residence permits, business visas, family visas, visa conversion, and permanent residence. With accurate knowledge of the latest immigration regulations and extensive practical experience, we help clients avoid documentation pitfalls, shorten processing time, and reduce compliance risks.
➦ Work Permit and Z Visa: End-to-End Agency Service
Core problems we solve: Foreign nationals working in China must sequentially obtain: Foreigner’s Work Permit Notification → Z visa → Foreigner’s Work Permit → work-type residence permit. Any mistake may lead to rejection or overstay.
Our services:
- Eligibility assessment and pathway planning: Based on education, work experience, age, salary, we determine A (high-end), B (professional) or C (other) category and design the optimal application route. For those already in China on another visa (e.g., M, L) and meeting conditions, we assess whether they can switch to work permit without leaving China.
- Document preparation and certification guidance: We guide clients to prepare degree certificates, police clearance certificates, medical reports, employment contracts, employer business license, etc.
Overseas document certification: Degrees and police clearance from abroad must be notarised, then authenticated by the foreign ministry (or via Apostille) and the Chinese embassy/consulate. We provide detailed certification guidelines, required document lists, and FAQs to help clients complete certification efficiently and avoid rejection due to format issues.
We also assist with translation of all non-Chinese materials to meet acceptance standards.
- Work Permit Notification application: We register accounts on the Foreigners Working in China Management System, complete online forms, upload attachments, track approval progress, and respond immediately to any requests for supplementary information. Typically the Notification is issued within 10-20 working days (A-class talent can use a green channel for faster processing).
- Z visa application guidance: We provide precise document checklists and form templates for Chinese embassies/consulates abroad, assist with appointment booking, and offer tips for interview questions. After issuance, we remind clients to verify visa details (entry validity, duration of stay).
- Post-entry work permit and residence permit coordination: After the foreign national enters with a Z visa, we submit the online application for the Foreigner’s Work Permit within 15 days and collect the physical card. Within 30 days we accompany or act as agent to file the work-type residence permit application with the exit-entry administration of the public security bureau, ensuring seamless transition and avoiding illegal stay.
Why clients choose us for work permits?
- Overseas document certification procedures vary greatly by country. We provide customised certification guidance (e.g., whether Apostille is needed, wording requirements for notarisation, translation standards), helping clients get it right the first time and reducing back-and-forth.
- We are proficient in the online application system and know which channels to use (green channel for high-end talents, special in-country application situations).
- The 30-day window after entry is tight. We help clients prepare residence permit materials in advance, not wasting a single day.
➦ Business Visa (M Visa): Efficient Invitation, Flexible Extension and Conversion
Use cases: Short-term business activities such as negotiation, purchasing, inspection, equipment installation.
Our services:
- Issuing compliant invitation letters: We prepare invitation letters in accordance with the latest requirements of the exit-entry administration, including invitee’s information, purpose of visit, itinerary, cost bearing, and the inviting party’s stamp and signature. For non-registered entities, we assist with supplementary registration certificates.
- M visa extension: We submit extension applications 7 days before the authorised stay expires. Extensions up to 180 days are possible.
- Conversion to multiple-entry business visa: For frequent travellers, we help obtain multiple-entry M visas with entry validity up to 5 years and each stay up to 180 days.
➦ Family Visas (S1/S2): Reunion Without Worry
S1 visa (long-term family visit): For spouses, parents, minor children, parents-in-law of a foreigner working/studying in China, intending to stay over 180 days. We assist with:
- Notarisation and Apostille/consular legalisation of family relationship certificates.
- Conversion to a private affairs residence permit within 30 days after entry (validity generally matches the principal’s work residence permit).
S2 visa (short-term family visit): For other relatives or stays not exceeding 180 days. We can apply for extensions, each time up to 180 days.
Common misunderstanding: S visas are for family members of foreigners working/studying in China, not for Chinese citizens or permanent residents. If the visited person is a Chinese citizen or permanent resident, a Q visa is required. We help clients choose the correct visa type to avoid rejection.
➦ Visa Conversion: Passport Renewal or Change of Purpose, Seamless Transition
- New passport: After a client obtains a new passport, we apply to transfer the valid visa (or residence permit) from the old passport to the new one, maintaining continuous entry/exit eligibility.
- Short-term visa to long-term multiple-entry visa: For M, F, Q2, S2 etc., where conditions are met, we help convert to multiple-entry visas with entry validity up to 5 years and each stay up to 180 days; for R (talent) visa, up to 10 years.
- Group separation: For those who entered on a group visa and need to stay separately, we assist with conversion to individual visas.
➦ K Visa (Young Scientific and Technological Talents): New Policy Benefit – No Inviting Unit Required
Background: Under State Council Order No. 814 effective 1 October 2025, the K visa category was added specifically for young talents in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) fields.
Our services:
- Assess whether the applicant meets the criteria of “graduation from a renowned university/STEM programme” or “education/research work experience in a renowned research institution”.
- Guide preparation of degree certificates/work experience certificates. No domestic inviting unit is required.
- K visa holders may engage in education, science and technology, cultural exchanges, entrepreneurship, business activities, etc., with great flexibility. We provide advice on subsequent conversion to work permit or residence permit if needed.
➦ Permanent Residence (Chinese Green Card): Eligibility Assessment and Full Agency
Eligibility criteria (must be law-abiding, healthy, no criminal record, good tax record):
- Substantial direct investor with stable investment for three consecutive years and good tax record.
- Senior manager or holder of associate professor/associate researcher or higher title, continuously employed for four years with cumulative residence of at least three years and good tax record.
- Major contribution or special national need.
- Spouse and minor children of the above.

- Minor child dependent on parents.
- At least 60 years old, no direct relatives abroad, dependent on direct relatives in China, continuously resident for five years with at least nine months per year.
Our services:
- Eligibility pre-assessment: We evaluate the client’s profile to estimate success probability, avoiding fruitless applications.
- Document preparation: Assist in organising investment certificates, employment documents, tax records, police clearance (authenticated), medical reports, etc., to meet Ministry of Public Security requirements.
- Application follow-up: After submission to the municipal public security bureau, we track progress regularly (approval normally takes 6-12 months) and promptly provide any supplementary documents required.
- Post approval assistance: Help collect the Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card and advise on its use (property purchase, children’s education, bank account opening, etc.).
➦ Post-entry Obligations: Accommodation Registration and Compliance Reminders
- Accommodation registration: For hotel stays, the hotel reports automatically; for private residences, the foreigner or the host must report to the local police station within 24 hours. We provide standard form guidance to avoid fines.
- Work permit and residence permit consistency reminders: Any change of employer, address, or passport information must be updated within the prescribed period (10-30 days). We provide an annual compliance calendar for each client and proactively remind them.
